We believe the best travel discoveries come from real people — not ranking algorithms. BuenaVista exists to make that human connection possible.
Built for explorers who travel with their eyes open
BuenaVista was born from a simple frustration: the best places to visit are rarely the ones that show up first on a search engine. The hidden waterfall that a local has photographed every monsoon season. The rooftop café in an old city that nobody's written a blog post about yet. The coastal stretch a fisherman calls the most beautiful sunrise on the subcontinent.
These places exist in the phones and memories of real explorers — people who travel not for clout, but because they genuinely love discovering the world. We built BuenaVista to give those people a home.
The name means "beautiful view" in Spanish — a nod to the universal language of a stunning landscape, regardless of where you're from or where you're headed.
Four principles that guide everything we build
People over algorithms
Your feed is shaped by explorers you choose to follow — not by what we decide to push.
Real places, real stories
Every location on BuenaVista was added by a person who was actually there.
Built for everyone
Multi-language support and a simple interface so explorers everywhere feel at home.
Privacy-first
We don't sell your data. No ads. The platform exists to serve explorers, not advertisers.
