Saptashrungi Devi is a revered Hindu Goddess, considered a self-manifested (Swayambhu) Shaktipeeth located near Vani in Nashik, Maharashtra. The 8-foot-tall idol is carved from natural rock, featuring 18 arms holding weapons. It is one of the "three and a half" Shaktipeeths in Maharashtra, located on a mountain with seven peaks. Key Details and Significance: Location: Situated on Saptashrungi Gad (mountain) in Nanduri, 60 km from Nashik. Idol Description: The deity is depicted with 18 arms, each holding a weapon, and is considered a manifestation of Goddess Sati. Significance: Known as a "half" Shaktipeeth, it is believed to be the place where Sati's right arm fell.
